📚✨ Bookbug Week is Almost Here! ✨📚
We’re excited to celebrate Bookbug Week across Scotland from 18–24 May 2026, kicking off next week! Alongside our regular Bookbug sessions, all our community libraries will be running a special competition with the chance to win some fantastic Julia Donaldson prizes 🎉
Here’s how to take part:
- Children must be library members (or sign up — it’s quick and free!)
- Pick up a Bookbug Bingo Card
- Explore the children’s library to find six hidden Bookbug characters
- Find them all and receive a gold Bookbug sticker & entry into our prize draw
The competition is open to all young library members, whether or not they attend Bookbug sessions. We’d love to see new families joining us, discovering the joy of books, and joining in the fun. Visit your local library to get started.
