Today was hard. I officially stepped down as Head Football Coach at WTHS. Nothing but love for the administration & WPS. At this time it’s best for my family I step away for now. I am & always will be a coach. The kids are part of my life forever & that’s the best part! 🏈🦅💙

[Derek Robbins @coachdeek10]

Just like that 4 years gone! Burnt the shoe with my first freshman class as a HC! These young men will always hold a place in my heart. Last Ride tomorrow. Fly Eagles Fly 🏈🦅🏈

[Derek Robbins @coachdeek10]

Today really caught me different. We had 31 kids suit up for our JV Chicken Bowl. Full breakfast for the entire program. Varsity kids on chains, water. & announcers. A total program day. When I wanted to be a HC this day is what I envisioned. I love my kids & my coaches forever!

Huge day on our last workout before vacation! Record number of participants since I’ve been at Voke with over 50. It was a challenge to keep us organized & working but it was another great day to be an Eagle! 🏈🦅🏈

In my 4th year at WTHS we have really impressed upon this year’s team. You set your own standard. The program has goals/expectations but your group & effort control what we will be. Workouts & participation #s off the charts! 7-1 not good enough last year! Now we’re just hungry🦅

One of our own going to the next level! Let’s Go Marco! 🏈🦅

@HerewegoJoe Just look at the hires so far. I mean the Bears didn’t even wait to interview Bienemy in KC. Would be interesting to see him coach Fields. I’m no billionaire but if your telling me Bienemy/Flores aren’t 2 of the top 3 candidates out there. Then yeah I agree something’s shady!

Congratulations Anas…again!

[Derek Robbins @coachdeek10]

Another honor for my guy Anas Nyameke CAL league, CMass, T&G Super Team, & now Division 5 State Super Team All Star! This in only his 3rd yr of football! We got some dudes up at the Voke school in the city!

A final look at my WTHS Eagles this year. Leaves me feeling proud. 8-3 What a group & what unbelievably tough/resilient seniors we had. A great corp will be back next year. I learned a lot about myself, my football team, & my family! They’re all I got & they’re all I need! 🏈🦅❤️

@BVTFootball Great season for you guys. All my best to you!

[Derek Robbins @coachdeek10]

This season hit different than others. Our kids are resilient & the seniors have persevered through a lot. So today got heavy & emotions ran high with this group. Last practice, burnt the shoe, indulged in coach’s spread, laughed & cried. Only thing left to do win tomorrow! 🏈🦅

[WT Eagles Football @EaglesWt]

We will play the South High Colonels Friday 4pm at Foley Stadium! A great opportunity to play a Division 4 playoff team & one of the best RBs in the state! City Ball Let’s Go! 🏈🦅@tgsports @3KevinShea @AndyLac32
