The Year 5/6 bubble really enjoyed writing their 'The Mirror Of Wishes' poems today. This one is an absolute joy, especially the last two lines. Thank you @Deanatfifty @PieCorbett and the @Talk4Writing team for all your wonderful resources.
Just some of the brilliant books donated by parents. Couldn’t get them all in the photo as some were snapped up before I’d put them down on my desk! We love them and want to say thank you to everyone who kindly donated them to our class. @moorlandsbelton
Little bit of light Sunday night reading about using the amazing Superman smashes the Klan by @geneluenyang to improve comprehension skills and discuss racism. https://t.co/PRWSkAgpDi

Padlet has been updated over the past few weeks to include some pretty new releases or books that deserve more exposure. If your school has mopney for books (a novelty I know) then have a look at how you can expand your graphic novel selection. https://t.co/SGuopAf9IN
Not only are Y3/4 kids going to love this book but it has so many pages that could be used for teaching. If you are looking at newspaper headlines, persuasive slogans etc it is full of puns and wordplay throughout that would really help get the point across.
Delighted to have a copy of Paris Cat by @dihofmeyr and #PietGrobler to give away. To enter, simply RT and follow the wonderful @TinyOwl_Books by 8:00pm on Sunday 19th July. If you don't win, buy a copy from them anyway, as it's truly superb! https://t.co/uKih6h06xc
My key worker bubble have been absolutely loving #DrawWithRob and we do at least one every day. Our group ranges from reception to year 6 but every single child is able to join in and enjoy it. Our display is nearly finished and they can’t wait to see the board completely full.
Wrote this after being inspired by @MrEFinch and his brilliant blog post. Just a few suggestions for graphic novels that can help ensure all children get a chance to see them self in a book. @MrS_Primary @KarlDuke8

We are really happy to see @jonnybid doing a session as he always recommends the best books to us, suppose @RuddickRichard is alright too but all he does is bang on about graphic novels!
🦹🏻♂️Grab a gin, beer or cup of tea and join @RuddickRichard in The Reading Realm, where he talks to the brilliant @stephenmccranie about his comic book series Space Boy!🦹🏽♀️

We thought three tables would be enough for our @WorldBookDayUK 'Book In A Box' competition. We were wrong! We needed six tables, the gym mats and the floor. Massive thanks to all our pupils, parents and staff for supporting this.
Fantastic to see our staff finding the time to meet up with their reading buddies to share favourite stories, talk about books, etc. It's really helping transform attitudes towards reading across the school.
Wow! This is an amazing way to finish off our new ''A school library...' display. Thank you so much @SueHardyDawson, we'll add it to the board tomorrow.
Graphic novels deserve a place on every bookshelf! In our blog post, we share our favorite Mighty Girl graphic novels for all ages. https://t.co/u72fsg7DHH
Celebrating the importance of books and reading on World Book Day is important but, to build a lasting school reading culture, celebrating the importance of books and reading on every other day is even more important. #readingforpleasure
