@m_brosnan This is how Eamonn Fitzmaurice saw it and thats what it looked like to me at the time. The whistle definitely went before the trip, the purpose of the trip was to stop the solo and go.
@tonyleen@MeathGAA It should have been brought up. The Cork player was prevented from taking a solo and go free by being tripped. As I understand the rules that should result in a black card for the trip and bringing it up 50 metres for interfering with the solo and go.
@CORKGAAFAN@movementcoachkm March-Sep as light and pitches become a problem. A month off for exams U16/18 so 6 months in practice. Clubs with players playing more than one age group complicates it. Maybe more room in school time to do more but constraints there too. All needs a review anyway๐
@movementcoachkm@CORKGAAFAN Cork dual players dont play enough club/school football games or practice enough to master the skills/decision making. Cumulative over years at underage and as adults are at a disadvantage. Big number of athletes compensates but only so much. How to improve it is the question?
