Dreamed of laying on this beach for 2 years. Got there and found out the #sargassum is way worse than expected. Water is brown and being close to the beach smells terrible. 🤞🏻hope it gets figured out before the lack of #tourism kills this amazing town. #beachlife #Cancun

@Marlencha1992 From what we heard it only got this bad over the last couple months. We left Puerto Morelos and went to Cancun. Much better there and we were told Isela Mujeres is seaweed free.
