Football gives us rivalries, but moments like this remind us why the people behind the shirts matter more.
Respect to Inter Miami for recognizing Jorge Messi with dignity. 🕊️❤️
Don't worry about people that talk bad about you. Remember, people that are happy don't hate and people that hate aren't happy!

@Ebuka2000000 Nah, this one’s pure 2017 physics.Ball to the face at the Super Cup. Photographer caught the exact millisecond the features folded. Fellaini himself retweeted it laughing.

If God gave you one breakthrough before this month ends, what would you choose?

I don't want to sound insensitive, but since some Messi fans want to bring the pity card into this, let's be clear.
Whatever hate Messi and Argentina received during the World Cup had nothing to do with Jorge Messi.
It was football.
Big players get praised, criticized, mocked and hated every single day. Cristiano Ronaldo gets the exact same treatment. When you're one of the biggest personalities in the sport, having fans and haters comes with the territory.
So trying to rewrite normal football rivalry as people attacking Messi because of his father's situation is pathetic. Nobody knew what he was going through privately.
What happened at the World Cup should remain at the World Cup.
Today isn't about Messi vs Ronaldo. It isn't about fanbases blaming each other.
It's about honoring Jorge Messi and giving his family the respect they deserve.
Football rivalry can wait.
Rest in peace, Jorge Messi. 🕊️
