Thank you to all of the parents who took time out of their schedules to visit with the class today.

[Steven Puzauskas @Earl_P6]

Congratulations! Our class won September's golden sneaker award. Also, we are looking forward to seeing all of the parents on Friday.

[Steven Puzauskas @Earl_P6]

It's hard to believe, but September is almost over. Just a reminder that tomorrow is an early dismissal day.

[Steven Puzauskas @Earl_P6]

Reminder that tomorrow we have a math and vocab quiz.

[Steven Puzauskas @Earl_P6]

We met with our 4th grades buddies for another team building activity which incorporated preparing the 4th graders for Camp Innabah.

[Steven Puzauskas @Earl_P6]

Upon finishing Old Yeller we discussed the life lessons throughout the book such as family love, courageous acts, and loss of life.

[Steven Puzauskas @Earl_P6]

The students are doing a great job in writing with showing events instead of just telling what happened; some will be published on my site.

[Steven Puzauskas @Earl_P6]

This afternoon we met with our book buddies from B-4 and participated in a team building activity which used communication and cooperation.

[Steven Puzauskas @Earl_P6]

During reading we discussed various text structures and focused on chronological order. Tomorrow we will look at compare/contrast examples.

[Steven Puzauskas @Earl_P6]

We practiced finding the GCF using factor trees and tomorrow we'll begin finding the LCM of two numbers. In science we constructed flippers.

[Steven Puzauskas @Earl_P6]

We finished our science investigation today and will review tomorrow for Thursday's quiz.

[Steven Puzauskas @Earl_P6]

In math we began dividing fractions. Here is a link to help with the homework https://t.co/mc1TxzooSf

These are two links to the 9/11 articles that we read in class http://t.co/asu5m6ltmO http://t.co/O7AxyvQTaV

[Steven Puzauskas @Earl_P6]

Tomorrow we will take time to remember the events of 9/11 by reading and discussing how the events unfolded and the impact they have today.

[Steven Puzauskas @Earl_P6]

The students worked really hard while brainstorming during writing. Next week we will begin drafting our personal narrative stories.

[Steven Puzauskas @Earl_P6]

After completing the Lit CDT test the students worked cooperatively to construct their science lifeboats.

[Steven Puzauskas @Earl_P6]

In reading we discussed strategies to use when the text becomes to hard to read, and in writing we talked about small moments (seeds).

[Steven Puzauskas @Earl_P6]

We constructed paper lifeboats for our second investigation in science and reviewed for Thursday's quiz.
