There was room to drive around the idiot; that would've been my preferred solution -- just stomp the gas; he is unlikely to take or make a skillful shot at a moving target. Backing up gives him a much better shot, so that is not the option. Otherwise, pull that .357 out and make him lay the gun down (escalation for sure but you have to stop the threat). Good to see that it worked out, but the clown should not have been able to approach the window.

George Blanda devoted his time to his grandchildren and his horses after retirement (he already had several grandchildren and great-grandchildren by then), so he was definitely a grandfather when he last played at quarterback. His wikipedia page shows he only threw 3 passes in a game at 48, but at 43, he won the Bert Bell award, was voted Male Athlete of the Year, and finished 2nd in the MVP voting. Not bad grandpa!
