My Year 6 class have loved The Final Year and The First Year by Matt Goodfellow and have recently got stuck into poetry based around the books.
They were keen to share with you and ask if there's a third installment @EarlyTrain ? We can't wait for Six Weeks!
Read my review of Six Weeks @EarlyTrain Out 4/6/26. Utterly stunning as I expected. The story meets Alfie when he is dealing with the kind of loss no child should have to go through. And then what happens in the Six Weeks of summer the following year. 5* https://t.co/W3rZwE0Gtk
Compulsively readable and relatable, this is a story of grief, and light, and family.

This week we have been looking at the poem Zany Zoo by Matt Goodfellow. We came up with some actions to perform it and then created our own version. 🐒🐼🐻🦍🐘🐯🐨 @EarlyTrain

Once Upon A Time...
It's been a long wait since August, when I originally approached the wonderful Gemma Ranford to suggest that we work together to Go All In. We enlisted the help of the equally amazing Nicki Hitchcock and we started planning community involvement projects.
Thank you @NetGalley@EarlyTrain@HachetteKids for the advanced copy of Six Weeks. A beautiful piece of pure and raw love on every page 😍📚💔Here is my review https://t.co/75GSg7qwIA
