Why should you sell on Etsy?
[A short thread]
Etsy is not one of #moneytwitter 's favorite recommendations for getting started selling stuff online.
Despite that, I've had awesome success with the platform.
Here are the most compelling reasons to consider it:
[1/8]
One thing I didn't appreciate
when I started selling on Etsy
is the regular requests for bulk orders.
These have been an incredible supplement to regular orders of 1 or 2 units.
Morning & evening routines π¨
Can dictate your daily success
My non-negotiables for each:
Morning βοΈ
- Lift
- Walk outside
- Eggs & coffee
Evening π
- 1 hour no-screen time
- Read 10 pages
- Do the dishes
What are yours? π
When you are inspired by your own growth, you are winning the game of life.
Why?
Because it means you are in a cycle of growth.
It means you can use yourself as motivation to keep pushing further.
@wealthify_you The only way to grow is to fail. Fail and learn.
The not taking it personally is the hard part for me.
The first step is recognizing that pain and realizing you have a choice in how you respond to it.
@rich_munger Well said.
If you don't do well in the structured setting at school, that's completely fine.
You're in good company & there are other avenues to success.
Focus on creating your own success.
@Entrepreneurfo3 There's sooo many benefits of a 9-5 that evaporate when you quit.
Before going at it alone, make sure you can sustainably replace those benefits.
What a world we'd live in if we all took time to do this for one person in our life.
Luis literally just laid out a blueprint to turn someone's life around.
@EarnAllDay I like this one Nick.
I would definitely invite him to walk with me and take him to a place full of nature.
That in order to make his brain calm.
Then I would shut up and listen everything that he has to say.
The I would ask him what he would like to change about his life 1/2
@LearnWithLuis Okay, Luis.
You come across a 20 year old guy headed nowhere.
Works a restaurant job, spends the rest of time on the playing video games, smoking, and zoning out.
Zero control of his thoughts.
How do you fix it?
@FreedomPathGo All courses of action are risky, so prudence is not in avoiding danger,
But calculating risk and acting decisively.
Make mistakes of ambition and not mistakes of sloth.

Trying to internalize this mentality.
