2. The map of 'Palestine' you hold up as sacred was drawn just over 100 years ago by a colonial pen. It is entirely a modern colonial construct.

We are tired of beseeching the world for the legitimacy to have our own homeland.

We are tired of being held to a different standard, which is then weaponized against us.

We are tired of people refusing to listen when we define the hate that we are victims of.

We are tired of being constantly threatened, exiled, discriminated against, scapegoated, blamed, murdered.

We have had enough.

We will stand up for ourselves because no one will do it for us.

We will stop waiting for the world to change because the world has always hated Jews.

We will fight for our country because we recognize it is the only place we can be safe.

We will define our movements, our identity, our self-empowerment, and no one else.

When Hamas began to infiltrate Kibbutz Be’eri, Magen David Adom paramedic Amit Mann, 22, grabbed her first aid kit and ran to the clinic to treat those wounded, where she was trapped with the injured and dead for over seven hours.

She wrote to her family: "They are back, I don't think we will be able to survive this.”
"Pray for us, be strong if something happens to me", "Mom I love you, think only good things about me.”

Her body was found two days later.

Only after did her family learn that her apartment had been left untouched by Hamas, and had she stayed at home, she would have likely survived.

Amit’s courage and heroism is an example for us all.

She is a true lioness of Israel.

May her memory be a blessing.
