🗣️Listen, I’ve watched that back a few times now and it’s clear as day. Argentina’s second goal against Cape Verde should not have stood. Tagliafico is all over the defender in the box on that corner he’s got his arms wrapped around him, he’s pushing, he’s impeding him. That’s a foul, plain and simple. In any other game, the referee blows for it immediately.

Consistency in refereeing is what we keep asking for, but we’re not seeing it. If that decision goes against one of the so-called ‘bigger’ nations in the same situation, the outcry would be massive.

Disappointing from the officials. Cape Verde deserved better.”
