@bdomenech Didn’t I read somewhere that Jeff’s wife was the hard worker? The one who took her money and became a philanthropist after she left his cheating ass?
@ProjectPearson I see a kid who was told by the family he’d be boss one day, and when Pops tried to tell him he didn’t have the goods, set out to prove him wrong. There’s donations in them thar hills - and no one to take over the family business (yet) - so they’re letting him run it out.
@ProjectPearson@PaulCalandra@stephenharper I remember Calandra for bringing his “A” game to Bald Faced Lying when he was a Harper stooge. Back then it was shocking - and sadly, it’s now the expectation.
@merry123459 @sarobertsonca I recently revisited this fairy tale to determine who exactly “calls the tune”, and I think Lisa should remember that the Piper also led the children away, leaving the townsfolk who disrespected him without future generations.
@ckouros@Dogbowl31Medb@RetroCoast Spent 15 years in financial services, and was disgusted by the things I saw people ignore in the name of profit. Ever hear of ethical investing? Or are you one of those who can excuse anything if there’s a profit in it? Rhetorical question - you’ve already answered.
@HermanL45290384@tfromthemeadow Back in the 80s, I put up a calendar of sexy, wet, hard man bodies in my cubicle, and responded to complaints with “gander, meet goose”. “If you can’t beat ‘em” wasn’t my first choice, but options were limited.
@MidnightCat77@GriftReport Her father was an addict, and recognized it in her. If you’ve never walked that road, you have no understanding of how loving this was.
Wow. “There will be more defections… nothing good is coming.” From one of the most astute & brilliant journalists ever in Canada @ChantalHbert.
The Cons can ignore some blood loss but not when the heart starts failing. Lethal. It’s Poili-over. And send all MapleMAGAs with him.
