The beautiful Linnet, sits on the globular, unopened Blackberry flowers, so peaceful and tranquil. Its a superb picture of one of our native birds that are getting scarce now, in our neck of the woods. Great capture !

This shot is beautiful in many ways, first of all it represents the Springtime power of the procreation of new life, the little ducklings doing their own bit of navigation around the silvery and green pond weed and lily leaves.The stunning colour contast is the icing on the cake!
