Rubber recycling refers to processing damaged or worn-down rubber products for new use to prevent rubber waste from ending up in a landfill.
• Rubber recycling steps:
1-Collection of rubber waste.
2-Shredded.
3-Sorted.
4-Devulcanization of rubber waste.

Paper is used daily which makes it very concerning to the environment.
Steps of recycling paper?
1- Waste collection as everything starts here with the careful disposal of rubbish.
2- Waste sorting: examine the material and make sure that the recyclable fibre is separated.
3- Paper then is pressed and shredded.
4- Chemicals are used to remove ink.
5- The de-inked paper is soaked in hot water to create a pulp.
6- The contact points between the fibres are reinforced to improve the paper’s strength.
7-The paper is passed through a Fourdrinier machine.
How can you recycle glass?
- Check the guidelines at your local recycling center.
- Rinse the containers well.
- Remove all parts that aren’t glass.
- Sort them out.
- Deposit the glass in a recycling bank or bring it to the recycling center.

Recycling glass is a way to help reduce waste, we can use glass objects again instead of making them a threat to our environment.
Steps of glass recycling:
1- When the glass is taken to a manufacturing or recycling plant, it is broken up into smaller pieces called cullet.
2-The broken pieces are crushed, sorted, cleaned, and prepared to be mixed with other raw materials.
3-The raw materials and glass pieces are melted in a furnace and then shaped into moulds to make new bottles of different colors and sizes (Ex: new recycled bottles and jars).
How can you as an individual recycle plastics?
Being creative is the main key, for example:
-Create a Piggy Bank Made From a Reused Plastic Bottle.
-Make a DIY Plastic Bottle Planter.
-Reuse Coffee Containers for Snack Storage.
-DIY Kitchen Storage Containers. #plasticrecycling
Plastic is a concerning material because it takes many years to deteriorate.
Steps of plastic recycling:
1-Collection plastic into a recycling container.
2-Sorting plastic from other materials.
3- Plastic is washed, ground into flakes, heated and extruded into new pellets.
2- External recycling is the reclaiming of materials from a product that has been worn out or rendered obsolete.
Example: the collection of old newspapers and magazines, aluminium cans and glasses bottles.
Two types of recycling operations:
1- Internal recycling is the reuse in a manufacturing process of materials that are a waste product of that process
Example: matals industry, copper tubing, and distilling industry.
How to avoid the growth of this continent as an individual?
- Reduce the amount of plastic used daily.
- Recycle the used plastics to reduce the wasted material.
- Reuse the materials as much as you could.
#Recycling#Earthy#Earthpedia#The_Great_Pacific_Garbage_Patch
I’m here to warn you about a new continent growing in the North Pacific Ocean named as the Great Pacific Garbage.
• How is this dangerous?
- The continent basically contains tiny micro plastics.
- It would take 67 ships one year to clean up that portion.
- IT IS STILL GROWING!
One of the solutions to reduce the wasted materials from mass production is recycling.
Do you know what is recycling?
Recycling is the process of collecting and processing materials that would otherwise be thrown away as trash and turning them into new products.
