IOHO, the EF/ASM buyout is not in the best interests of ASM shareholders without serious management exploration first of other potentially interested RE sector parties.

Could a Trump and Zelensky critical metals/RE pact be a backdoor to a defense agreement between the US and Ukraine based on protecting US assets from future aggression?

This weekend a Chinese RE sector move with a focus on material traceability and environment protection. Question, how will the HRE feedstock from Myanmar to China within borders processors and onto magnet makers be recorded? Pass, Fail, Doesn't count. Just asking. REI
@tracyhughes Yes let's switch this old media eyeball RE narrative from military focus, decoupling and region containment coming out of our voting chasing political elites to competition for the huge potential value chain wealth generation many countries want to join in. GLTA REI
What does today's news re US strategic funding for AUS ASM and Meteoric's Brazilian-based mining project mean for the rest of N and S. American-based RE wannabees?

This magnet news from POSCO/Star Group should put a cat amongst the RE sector pigeons for RE retail investors. The speculation about those directly involved and those for whom it may hold direct implications is very interesting. https://t.co/K0sHXtZApJ
Is this JL Mags move an indication that Chinese RE entities (and the CCP) are now recognizing the need to go out to compete within the ROW RE market for those major end-line customers that are fast becoming less China-constrained?

RE retail investors may be frustrated with the 2023 malaise in the RE sector market, but there are signs of value chain progress, particularly if you sift through the media/analyst RE hype to identify the actual present picture. GLTA - REI

@ozmining Interesting. Why wasn't the investment plowed into Hastings's own mine and processing projects in AUS? AUS gov 'is looking to support mining and processing within its own borders with strategic money. Why support a company possibly now looking to process outside? Just a question.
@GSLDP@Tesla Thanks for the contact. Keep us informed of any moves made. Even feel free to post a 'running' Topic on the REI Forum about your project with past events outlined and any future moves made; the Forum gets many eyeballs per month globally. Thanks again.
Finally, a discussion that says it – US must compete directly with China over RE value chains. No more we can’t, simply we must. Very positive for selective RE investor outlook to at least 2024.

@fredcantu Will US mine RE feedstock inside or outside borders is the big question? Regardless, developing high-value processing + magnet making (chokepoints) should be the focus for the US. Already have MP, Lynas and REEMF processing backed re., strategic money https://t.co/EpEL3RYdeF
Things are building in the N. American and ROW RE sectors. Global events are forcing the divergence of the RE value chain (events re., Myanmar, MP and US defense entities just today, never mind Russia - Ukraine) RE investors should watch the macro picture
