Last week, our EDC inclusion football team received their medals from the Durham County Football Association for their participation in the league.

The team have attended all 7 festivals, played around 30 games and never missed a session.

Some of our Art students recently put together a tree-cycling sculpture with the focus of redefining waste serving as a powerful symbol of sustainability & innovation.

𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗞!

Group 9 in our Derwent Provision have taken part in a sponsored walk for Rainbow Trust. The charity support families and young people who are terminally ill. The group have so far have raised £300.50.

A massive congratulations to our senior equine groom apprentice, Natalie Fletcher, who has recently achieved her BHS silver challenge award!

Stocksmanship Show 2023!

Just before Christmas, some of our agriculture students took part in Houghall's inaugural stockmanship event.
Each student had the opportunity to either work with a home-bred lamb or bucket-reared calf to ensure they’re show-ready.

The students have worked really hard running around getting all the stuff they need, resulting in some fantastic designs!

Last Week, our Media Department visited Bridgewater Hall in Manchester. for the WORLD SKILLS FINAL!

From over four hundred entries, our students came second, Securing Silver medals!
