Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley provides pediatric therapy services to 1,000 infants, children and adults each week with developmental delays and disabilities.
70% of the children we serve are under age 6 when the brain is developing most rapidly. Your support makes a difference in these formative years for children like Ben. Please make a gift before our fiscal year ends on August 31. Donate at: https://t.co/Na2PcoJwtz
Ben took his first steps when he was 11-months-old, but frequent falls and injuries followed. Gross motor delays were impacting his safety, yet his delays weren’t significant enough to qualify for the state’s Early Intervention services.
Ben's pediatrician gave a referral to @eastersealsdfvr so Ben wouldn’t miss out on support during his early phases of development. Within five months, his strength and stability improved and he is keeping up with his toddler peers this summer.
With great biking weather outside, caregivers often ask our #PhysicalTherapy team if they have tips to help their child ride a bike. Our PT Josephine has a wonderful guide for parents on how to help kids learn!
