Yesterday was officially my last day at Eastern High school. A sad day as I’ve loved working there the past 5 years with some fantastic colleagues. I’ll especially miss our talented and enthusiastic pupils. It’s been a pleasure seeing the rugby grow within the school 1/2

Next Monday 18th July we will host our annual Eastern Sports awards to celebrate a fantastic year of sports, across the whole school.
The evening will start at 5pm in the main hall.
Parents/Guardians are encouraged to join us for the celebrations 👍🏻

Great day spent with our mixed year 7/8 girls down at the @CAVC_Rugby touch tournament. The girls enjoyed and a few playing for the first time. Thanks to @gavgallagher3 for organising, hopefully a yearly event now 👍🏻

Success for our year 8 boys winning the Cardiff schools plate, beating a determined and gutsy @StIlltydsPEDept. Chuffed for these lads who have worked hard as a team all year. Great to finish the season with a trophy!

One game too far for our year 7’s today, well beaten by a physical & dymanic @PEatCardiffHigh. Immensely proud of the boys for going unbeaten all season leading up to the final, but more importantly, the development of the boys individually and as a team from September 👍🏻.

Yr7 KO 10.20am at Arms Park. Minibus leaving school at 9.15am.

Yr8 KO 11.20am at Arms Park.

Congratulations to our year 8 boys who secured their place in the Cardiff schools plate final tonight with a win over @CantonianPe. Great to have both year 7+8 boys in the finals day on Wednesday.

Unfortunately the Cardiff schools finals day tomorrow has been postponed due to a pitch clash with the Cardiff senior team. Gutted for our year 7 boys but this event will be rearranged in the very near future.
All boys will get their chance to play on that hallowed turf 👍🏻

Congratulations to Yr10 pupil Alex who has secured his place in the Bowls schools final at the Principality stadium, representing Cardiff schools. Here is a picture of Al captaining the Yr7 team to victory a few years back😅. He’s continued to develop every year since. Well done!
