@RepFriedmanCA Thank you for amplifying the voices of our disability community. Your support helps reinforce that every person deserves respect, visibility, and belonging.
When I visited @EastersealSoCal, an organization that provides disability services in my district as well as nationwide, they said it best: disability is not a dirty word.
I strongly agree, which is why I’ve supported legislation to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Individual with Disabilities Education Act and continue to seek fair treatment for all Americans, regardless of ability.
@KenslowMatthew Thank you for highlighting our Every1 With Autism Belongs campaign. Representation matters, and we appreciate you helping make it visible. 🧡

I toured @EastersealSoCal 's Lancaster location, and was able to learn about the work they're doing at the Autism Services & Adult Day Services clinic.
After sitting down with their incredible team and program participants, I saw how this organization's disability and community services make such a big difference in the lives of children, adults, and families across our region.
Thank you to Diana Garcia, Carlos Guinies, and Kathleen Kolenda for the warm welcome and the wonderful tour!

Accessibility Panel at @Slamdance presented by @EastersealSoCal, introduced by @nicnovicki.
Your film doesn't have to be about the disability; cast actors, that happen to have disabilities.
Doesn't need to be sad with tragic character dying.
Need more joy.
