💥 Yesterday, we hosted a fantastic Girls Into Coding event with a focus on renewable energy. We aim to inspire girls to view technology as a tool for positive change and to care for the environment. It was amazing to see their interest in renewable energy and the various methods for generating eco-friendly power. ♻️

The girls had so much fun building, coding & generating renewable energy with solar & wind to power their scaled-down smart houses. They competed with each other, comparing and monitoring their progress on the GIC National Grid Energy Monitor!
They showed outstanding teamwork, determination, and brilliance during the workshops.

During the event, the girls had the opportunity to listen to a motivating talk by Anna Gurung , encouraging them to embrace new beginnings without fear. They actively engaged in Q&A sessions, demonstrating their curiosity and eagerness to learn.

💥 Fantastic Girls Into Coding event yesterday! It was clear the girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves! 🚀 They showed excellent engagement, teamwork, and resilience 🦾 in their hands-on workshops.

They had the opportunity to hear inspiring talks from Harpreet Dulai and Israa Alkatip. Harpreet talked about the 'not enough' curse that females often face before changing jobs or applying for new roles. She shared her background and, despite never feeling like she knew enough, how she dove straight into the opportunities and new experiences that came her way.

Israa discussed the various engineering paths one can take and the roles engineers play in different fields. She shared insights from her own experiences and those of her friends and colleagues, emphasizing the essential skills engineers require and how they can cultivate them from a young age.

With so many #3DDesign resources & tools out there some incentives for #students & #Teachers is the key to them using upcoming & new #AItools in #lessonplanning. #HDRI Mapping is not that high on the list at the moment. Please consider offering #Education options.
