We are the Friends of Eastpines Park, who help manage and run Eastpines Park in Anchorsholme Cleveleys / Blackpool

After a really tough time, delighted to confirm our Cafe at Anchorsholme Library is open four days a week now 10am to 4pm. I thought a good way to celebrate is with some of our volunteers enjoying some lovely cheese toasties :)

Huge Thank you to @BpoolCouncil for re installing our Football Posts today. It's another big step forward in our Park recovery plan. We will relaunch our coaching of FC East Pines next year :)

Huge thank you to our amazing volunteers and @lancsfoundation Lancashire COVID-19 community support fund for allowing us to get out our Pots of Hope this weekend to people in the area who have lost someone during the covid pandemic. Every smile & virtual hug is worth 10

and Sue for helping us weed and plant, slowly but surely we are restoring all the gardens as part of our recovery plan for the Park :)

So 150 knitted Bees and Thank you Bags later to key workers all over the Fylde, we are so proud of our amazing team for what they have achieved. A huge thank you to our 3 junior key workers who helped get the bags out

Our latest round of "Thank You" bags are going out today to key workers in the FY5 area. Thank you so much to warburtons for the grant and for everyone for the nominations and most of all to all the key workers out there for what you are doing.

We started the delivery of our "Thank You" bags to key workers today, each bag contains a knitted bee guaranteeing lots of hugs during a working day and lots of treats. If you would like to nominate a key worker in the FY5 area please message us :)

Following a wonderful donation from Warburton's to the Park, we have decided to spend the money on creating "Thank You" bags for key workers which will contain our knitted bees. The bees will mean you always have a friend you can squeeze during a pressured moment...

Phase 2 works are well under way with the team hard at work resurfacing the playground. It's transformed the playground and gives us a great launch pad for what we want to achieve in phase 3 of the Playground rebuild:
