@Black_Action@JusticeKetanji's claim is historically false. Freed Black Americans like Frederick Douglass and Reconstruction leaders absolutely fought for lineage‑specific protections AND warned that immigration harmed our community! They never pretended our struggle was a universal project.
He says, "It doesn't matter what any of these immigrants say; we are the original people of America," claiming that New Orleans natives are the only ones truly celebrating their heritage as the original Indians.
