1st March 2023 is the last day to pay any self-assessment tax owing for 2021/22 before an automatic 6% late payment penalty applies.

Tip: If you agree to a "time to pay arrangement" before this date HMRC will usually forego the 6% penalty if you keep to the arrangement.
