#WATCH | Guwahati | On allegations against him by Assam CM HB Sarma, Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi says, "The CM is sinking in his own web of lies. To hide one lie, he has to come up with a hundred lies. I have said I visited Taxila. I did not say I visited Rawalpindi. He has also not said that I did not visit Rawalpindi. I have stated in my passport that I visited Lahore and Islamabad in early 2014. The CM, after sitting on this SIT report for six months, has lost confidence that there is a single shred of evidence in the SIT report to prove the wild allegations. The people of Assam and India saw how he made a mockery of himself in his 2.5-hour press conference yesterday. He only embarrassed himself in front of the national media. CM Himanta Biswa Sarma continues to show why he is unfit to occupy the chair of Chief Minister of Assam. He has made hate speeches against a community and distributed videos which call for the genocide of muslims. Cases are being filed in this regard. In a press conference yesterday, he revealed private information about my minor children, including their [photos and passport details. All of this is illegal. The CM only knows how to conduct illegal activities, therefore, he is unfit to occupy the chair of CM of Assam."
