The X rebrand is like Brexit: there will be no sudden, disastrous drops, just slow, incremental declines and millions of tiny, invisible missed opportunities. Bad branding, like good branding, works slowly.
Britain as a country has always been deeply divided with class boundaries entrenched by monarchy, public schools & other gate-keepers to advancement in key professions (such as law and medicine specifically). I don't ever remember it being as corrupt faced as it is today. 1/11
