When you ask an internet search engine a question, for example, “Why did X happen?” or something similar about a targeted topic—or even one that isn’t targeted—you instantly get a ready-made answer generated by a chatbot from the vastness of the web. Very convenient. But you need to understand where that answer comes from.

The chatbot searches through numerous news sources and texts and usually gives you a substantive answer, while below it, Google or whatever search engine you use displays dozens of pages of blue links to websites. Of course, reading a single compiled answer is quick and convenient. Just understand this:‼️artificial intelligence does not know the truth. It literally retells the internet.
Russia was among the first to grasp this, and here is what it is cooking up, systematically and deliberately poisoning AI with millions of fake articles: since 2022, the “Pravda” network of websites has gained momentum and remained active—close to two hundred sites in dozens of languages. These sites publish 10,000–20,000 similar articles every day, amounting to 4–6 million articles a year. These articles are not written for people. They are written for machines.
Here is what happens next: when 20,000 articles are created around a single false propaganda claim, published in different languages across hundreds of websites that also link to one another, the machine sees: lots of sources are reporting this, so it looks like the truth. And it dumps a lie on you in the chatbot’s characteristic descriptive yet confident manner, delivered in a neutral, non-judgmental tone. No telltale accents or traces of a propagandist, no “Rossiya 1” logo in the corner. Just presented as fact.
Research into ten of the world’s most popular chatbots has already found that, in a third of cases, they take in and reproduce narratives from Russian fake stories. The machine readily answers your question, “Why did X happen?” even when X is made up—meaning the lie is already embedded in the question. Back in 2024, four out of ten bots answered yes when asked, “Did Azov soldiers burn an effigy of Trump?” and provided links to sources. Try it. There are thousands of examples like this. Including ones about Magyar and the Birds—the worm goes berserk every fucking second.

We are losing ground to the worms’ troll farms in this war. Though we have bred an entire stratum of trolls of our own.
There is no “betrayal” here, and no advice to follow—just highlighting a threat that is under study alongside dozens of other challenges of today and tomorrow.
Critical thinking should not be delegated. Not even to the smartest machine. Use your head and always verify the source and the information.

V souvislosti s mou cestou do Maroka se objevily otázky, na které jsem během pobytu nemohl odpovídat, proto chci nyní po návratu do České republiky uvést věci na pravou míru.

V úvodu chci zdůraznit, že vysvětluji okolnosti soukromé cesty, nikoli služební. Kancelář prezidenta ji ani neorganizovala, ani nic neplatila. Svá slova považuji za důležitá z hlediska transparentnosti a otevřenosti, z hlediska politického ovšem odmítám zasahování do svého soukromí.

Cestoval jsem 2. října z Prahy do Maroka na soukromou dovolenou letadlem, které bylo pronajato pro potřeby týmu Fesh Fesh, který se účastnil závodu Rallye du Maroc. Volná místa na palubě nám organizátoři nabídli. Využil jsem nabídky a souhlasil s úhradou ceny, která vycházela z podílu za mé sedadlo ve výši 3.750 euro.

Pro cestu z marocké Casablancy do Prahy a zpět v termínu voleb jsem využil let soukromé marocké přepravní společnosti. Zajištění letu se ujal jeden z účastníků naší výpravy Tomáš Šebek, který mě spolu s Pavlem Kubíčkem a příslušníkem ochranné služby na cestě doprovázel.

Za tuto cestu jsem uhradil z osobních prostředků 15 tisíc eur. To byl můj podíl na celkové platbě.

Cestu zpět z Maroka jsem absolvoval běžnou linkou ve čtvrtek 15. října.

Věřím, že tímto je záležitost vysvětlena a uzavřena.

The monarch butterflies that cross North America every autumn spend the winter in twelve small patches of mountain fir forest in Mexico. Avocado orchards are being planted inside them.

The migration is one of the wonders of the natural world. Each autumn tens of millions of monarchs leave Canada and the northern United States and fly up to 3,000 miles to a few cold, high valleys in Michoacán, where they cluster on the fir trees in such numbers that the branches bend. They have never seen the place. Their great-grandparents left it in the spring.

Those valleys are a national reserve. They are also at exactly the height where the avocado grows best, and the price of an avocado has made that land worth more as an orchard than as a forest.

So the forest is going. Across Michoacán, trees have been cleared for avocados at a rate of more than ten football pitches a day for a decade. Growers set fires, blame lightning, and plant in the ashes. Some plant young avocado trees among the pines and quietly take the pines out when the orchard can stand on its own. Inside the reserve itself, nearly 2,400 acres have gone.

A study in 2025 found that as the climate warms, avocado land is moving uphill, towards the last groves where the butterflies cluster.

Scientists who count the monarchs each winter by the area of forest they cover have watched the figure fall by about 90% in a generation.

Those butterflies are the pollinators of the American prairie. They are not pests, and they have never been farmed. They are dying for a fruit marketed to people who put a bee emoji in their bio.

Two Weeks of October: “De-escalation” on the Front Line in the Numbers of the USF Birds.

The enemy’s buildup of temporarily living manpower along the front line is obvious, translating into a significant increase in irreversible and sanitary enemy personnel losses verified in DELTA and credited to the USF Group during October 1–14, compared with the same periods in August (+59.45%) and September (+24.65%):

7,306* enemy personnel killed or wounded during the first 14 days of October, compared with 4,582 on August 1–14 and 5,861 on September 1–14.

The largest increase in enemy personnel losses recorded by the USF is in the Dobropillia–Pokrovsk direction, within the area of operations of the Azov Group of Forces (1st National Guard Corps and 9th Army Corps):

During the first 14 days of October, the USF Birds successfully inflicted irreversible and sanitary losses on 3,221* enemy personnel, compared with 1,594 (+102%) on August 1–14 and 2,260 (+42.52%) on September 1–14.

The serious slugfest continues amid significantly deteriorating weather conditions (drizzle, fog, and precipitation).

*The figures provided refer exclusively to units of the USF Group and do not include the results of any other units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. All results have been verified in DELTA, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' situational awareness system.
