Everton were very keen on Dan Ashworth to become their new Director of Football. Exploratory discussions were where but Brighton dismissed any serious dialogue. Newcastle must have offered him a huge package to leave Brighton.

How Everton look finishing the January 2022 Transfer Window:

Team 1 (Best PL XI) - This should be good enough for me to finish inside the Top7 and qualify for Europe

Team 3 - This is made up of squad players and kids with potential to progress into the first XI/Squad in time. For me this is a Championship standard team.

Team 2 (Best of the Rest for PL standard) - This team should be able to survive in the PL and finish between 10th - 16th position. It’s a reasonable drop off in quality from Team 1, although there are some very good players in this side.

Vitaliy Mykolenko has both Leighton Baines & Ashley Cole at the club as coaches at the same time. If he is smart and can learn from both of them then I think he could develop into the World Class Bracket as those two both were. Exciting times🔵
