Watch this video carefully and see Peter Obi schooling politicians on the reality of governance and economy!
Instead of putting heads down to learn real statecraft, people like Soludo allowed political envy to ruin them.
He traded credibility for political play, completely disappointing the people who expected better from an "intellectual."
When a leader throws away his integrity for cheap politics, he becomes completely useless to the common man!
Peter Obi is addressing the actual pain of Nigerians while others play games.
Make no mistake: 2027 is coming, and it won't just be about elections—it must be a time of serious accountability and legal consequences for every politician who has ruined this country!
When you think about it, in this CR7 and Messi GOAT debate, I never see person wey create a player in the likeness of messi. I mean short, fast and freakish left foot. Almost everyone goes for 6ft, fast, power shot, skills and all that good stuff 😁
I finally understand why @PeterObi keeps investing heavily in nursing schools.
Guys, Nigeria needs far more investment in healthcare.
My eyes have seen what my mouth can barely describe because today marks the sixth day my 79-year-old dad has spent in a general hospital.
I suspected he was having a stroke and rushed him to the emergency department, which is just a 3–5 minute drive from my house. We arrived at exactly 2:14 p.m.
He wasn't seen by a doctor until a few minutes after 6 p.m.
That only happened because I called someone I know who works there, and she intervened.
His treatment eventually started after 7 p.m. — on a chair.
Several patients were receiving drips while seated because the emergency unit was completely overwhelmed.
My 79-year-old father sat on a chair while receiving three drips. I had to bring a pillow and even a chair from my house just to make him a little more comfortable.
Watching him in that condition changed something in me.
It wasn't until 6 a.m. the following morning that he was given a stretcher to lie on, and only later that day was he finally moved to a proper hospital bed.
I'm sharing this to paint a picture of the reality many Nigerians face.
The needs I witnessed were enormous:
1. Severe shortage of staff — porters, cleaners, nurses and doctors.
2. Inadequate space and far too few beds.
3. Old, worn-out wheelchairs and stretchers.
4. Frequent shortages of basic consumables like hand gloves.
To our wealthy individuals, celebrities and everyone blessed with more than enough: if you're wondering what meaningful gift to give on your birthday or during a celebration, please consider supporting a general hospital or primary healthcare centre.
These are the places many ordinary Nigerians turn to when they have nowhere else to go. They are not free, but they are still more affordable than most private hospitals.
Please support our public hospitals. A donation of equipment, supplies or funds could make the difference between suffering and dignity for someone else's father, mother or child.
Thank you.
