Howards Lane between its junctions with Laurel Drive and Villiers Crescent is closed for up to 2 weeks.

This is to facilitate @unitedutilities in repairing a sewer which has collapsed under the carriageway.

Following the government's announcement yesterday, face coverings are now compulsory:

😷 when using a taxi or private hire vehicle
😷 for bar/restaurant staff and non-seated customers
😷 for shop workers

🚧 Works on Millbrow: An update

I’ve just spoken to one of the lead engineers on site & he said that the works, to fix the electrical cables should be completed over the next few days.

Some of the electrical street cables had melted in the heat & need replacing.
