❗️✈️🇰🇷 - Muan, South Korea - A Jeju Air passenger plane veered off the runway and crashed into a fence during landing at Muan International Airport in South Jeolla Province on Sunday morning, according to police and firefighters.

The flight, which had originated from Bangkok, was carrying 175 passengers and six crew members.

Tragically, 23 casualties were reported at the crash site. Emergency services are currently engaged in rescue operations, while authorities are investigating to ascertain the precise cause of the accident.

Muan International Airport is located about 288 kilometers from Seoul.
