Either go all in on realism or show actual gameplay with a hud and portray how it’s going to be. There’s a market for a game with a tarkov level of realism but without the friction that pushes people away.

to lean into that no hud bodycam style for extra realism, but personally I have no faith in call of duty to ever decide to go all in on realism tarkov style, there’s still finisher animations, helicopters, missiles going off etc.

I’m a little confused on why they showed the new DMZ the way they did. By this point we all know what an extraction shooter looks like. There’s no real surprise factor, and having a majority of the footage be “spectating” another player is probably there …
