Newly released bodycam footage shows a trans University of Central Florida student's pronoun meltdown after a confrontation with police quickly spiraled into an arrest.

Jarrett Vick was ultimately charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct, and resisting an officer with violence for the 2025 incident.

Throughout the confrontation Vick ignored police orders, repeatedly shouted female pronouns at officers, and attempted to evade arrest.

Police say Vick became combative after they responded to reports of a verbal altercation and were ultimately forced to use pepper spray, deploying a Taser, and handcuff Vick.

BREAKING: Vice President & General Manager of Battlefield Studios Europe, Rebecka Coutaz, has confirmed to Indy100 (a British news website affiliated with The Independent) that #Battlefield6 will continue to be worked on far beyond the end of 2026.

When asked if there are plans to work on the game for at least the next 2 years, Coutaz said: Yes, of course.

Just days after PlayStation announced that all new games will be digital-only starting in 2028, Sony President and CEO Hiroki Totoki sold 225,000 Sony shares.

According to a recent SEC filing, Totoki sold the shares on July 3 for an estimated $4.73 million.
The sale represented 56.5% of his holdings in that class of Sony stock, leaving him with 173,250 shares.

I have 425 Games in my PS Plus Collection. (Those have even more restrictions because you have to pay for plus)

In actuality I don’t own any of that digital media. Just a license, a license they could revoke at the click of a button.

If it’s not physical, you don’t own it unless something changes.

PlayStation updated its Terms of Service in April 2026, and Section 21 outlines how inactive PSN accounts may be closed.

> If a PSN account remains inactive for 36 months, Sony may begin the account closure process. The account holder will receive an email notification and has 6 months to sign in or request that the account remain active.

> If no action is taken and the account is closed, access to PlayStation Network services will end.

>Any digital purchases tied to that account, including games, DLC, and other digital content, will no longer be accessible.

Rockstar reportedly told Sony to remove GTA VI's branding from the PlayStation App after the disc controversy got too hot

Sony killed physical discs for all PlayStation games starting January 2028.

The backlash was instant.

Politicians calling for regulation. KFC and Domino's publicly roasting them. The internet turned on Sony overnight.

A week ago Sony had GTA VI everywhere.

App icon changed. PS5 dashboard taken over. Store completely redesigned. No PlayStation game has ever gotten that treatment.

Now all of it is quietly gone.

They just killed physical games, because they don't want you to own anything.

- Sony is done making discs.
- Next XBOX won't even have a drive.

They'll cut all the printing, packaging, and shipping costs, but still charge us $70+ for a download.

"Consumer preferences are changing" is BS. This is about removing the only leverage we gamers have left.

Think about it. Right now if a digital game is $70, you have options:
- check local retailers
- buy a used copy on eBay
- borrow it from a friend

Physical retail creates competition. It forces PlayStation and Xbox to run sales to compete with the used market.

Once the disc drive dies, that competition will die with it. They will own 100% of the distribution pipeline.

If they want a 4-yo game to stay at $70, it stays at $70. Zero alternatives. It’s literally a total monopoly, but they're selling it to us as "convenience"

And don't even get me started on game preservation.

When we buy digital, we're just renting a temporary license until some corporate spreadsheet decides the server costs aren't worth it anymore. We already know the PS3 and Vita stores are on death row.

PC is starting to look like the only place left where we actually have choices.

Yeah it's 100% digital too but at least Steam, Epic, and GOG have to compete with each other.

On console we're just trapped...
