Some people want cute characters they can dress up. Some only have three minutes and just want to tap a few buttons. Those games already exist. I built the one I grew up on. Clash of Clans raids. Warcraft. Zelda. Fallout. Elden Ring. It started as a tower defense. Over a few months it grew into an RPG — growth, building, depth, leveling, grinding. All of it. The mechanic I always loved in CoC: attack another village and maybe walk away with their reserves. I’m building that out right now Would other people actually enjoy that… or is it just me?
