@FreyaHolmer I'd dare say that Futuregames students are the most well prepared for the industry.
As you say, it's not like we' haven't learned anything. I've learned a lot, both from teachers and students. But the amount of issues is still worth to bring up and have people aware of them.
@kosgia82@FreyaHolmer@FuturegamesEDU Game Design as in gameplay and mechanics. Game Artists in our year was a normal sized class. But they had their fair share of nightmares as well. The big takeaway is that FG in Stockholm is severely understaffed, together with bad communication. Which led to staff burning out.
@FreyaHolmer@FuturegamesEDU I've also heard the rumors of that studios (in Stockholm?) have started blacklisting Futuregames students because if this chaos. Which I hope is a misheard rumor. Because us students are still very capable of performing the tasks and are willing to learn and grow more.
@FreyaHolmer@FuturegamesEDU And at one point one teacher was not informed about that they would tutor that many people and was very surprised.
I've however heard that they have gone back to smaller classes, plus that they do interviews before accepting students. A worksample was all you needed for my year
@johanneswreich@InternetH0F Tells you that he has the reach and probably the strength to hold and pull the partner if she would fall. This was a strategic team effort!
