We're always keen to push boundaries for our patients. The team at the Childrenโs Heart Unit with @FenwickStores organised for Grace - who earlier this year was fitted with a portable unit for her Berlin heart - to meet Santa for the very first time: https://t.co/jIEZfMCxwi
Thanks for helping us with our simulation for the โAdvanced ECMO courseโ this week. The candidate feedback was that they enjoyed the simulations so much that they want even more sim! @NewcastleHosps@ELSOOrg#ecmosim#ecmo
Day 2 of the โAdvanced ECMO courseโ did not disappoint! Great talks from external speakers as well as introducing simulation into the programme. The candidates were excellent at quickly spotting a tamponade. May have to make the next few days a bit more tricky.... ๐
Exciting first day of our โAdvanced ECMO courseโ. Excellent talks from some fantastic guest speakers and good discussion amongst candidates about best ECMO practices. Roll on day 2!
Happy Birthday to our lovely ECMO coordinator. ๐๐ What a fantastic line up on day 2 of the #ELSO2021 conference to watch whilst hopefully eating some cake ๐ฅณ๐. @ELSOOrg
