@jacobitenow @PolitlcsUK It's alcohol trading laws, the longer pubs are open the more certain people drink. This leads to fights and high pressure on emergency services like police and NHS. So pubs have limited licences to help narrow these incidents down.

@ellisd479 @ggangle02 @PolitlcsUK Not quite. That's assuming they take no annual leave so let's take your over estimate and trim that down to a more realistic £480, it sounds a lot, but realistically this doesn't hit all at once. It's spread out over 12 monthly paychecks, it's about £40 a month.
