Fairtrade and Eco doing some great work together!

The Fairtrade annual visit to the Newmains community to spread the word of Fairtrade. This year we teamed up the Eco committee to join us learning about how ASDA helps promote Fairtrade.

Our new Eco Committee for session 2025-2026. We can’t wait to get started on creating new action plans to work towards our 10th Eco Green Flag! 🌍💚

Another successful spring / summer of gardening for Team MPS. The greenhouse is all cleaned out and shut up for winter.

It was last week of gardening club for this year. The pupils have worked hard over the last 4 week harvesting, bulb planting and tidying up the garden ready for winter.

Unfortunately we have had to dodge the showers during Gardening Club but at least it’s keeping our garden well watered 🌧️

We have found lots of creature that call out garden home 🪱 🐌 It’s hard work riddling all the soil to get all the roots and lumps out it so we can reuse it.

We have enjoyed tasting some of our home grown produce including different varieties of tomatoes and cucumbers 🥒 🍅 Miss Jones made Potato and Leek soup which was delicious 😋
