In yesterday's brown bag seminar, @F_Leenders_econ presented his work on life-cycle variation in the effects of job loss, the role of social security and retirement timing, and the extent to which unemployment insurance and savings help insure against associated welfare losses.
Yesterday we had our own @CriClerici presenting her work on the role of information, expectations and preferences in occupational choices of young men and women in Uganda. Very interesting! She will be on the academic job market this year, so keep an eye on her!
