In Maine, Platner limped into his first national interview buried under a cascade of scandals — allegations he denies, but that his own colleagues won’t defend. Democratic Rep. Madeleine Dean already said he 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘩𝘪𝘮𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧. President Trump called him a 𝘮𝘢𝘫𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘻𝘦𝘣𝘢𝘨. This is who they handpicked to appeal to normal men.
