Heritage Open Days
Ecton participated for the fourth year running (again in partnership with the Peak District Mines Historical Society), this year with visits on two days, to Salts Level on Saturday and Deep Ecton on Sunday. A record total of 226 visitors on the two days!

@MEMRAP1 @PeaksDalesRail I recently went to Madrid by train, and was impressed by the level of customer service provided by RENFE. This included direct assistance by the train manager when a delay (due to snow) left me less than 5 minutes at Barcelona for connection to a TGV for Paris.
