@2Twoitt@ugacdawg@ByuSome You are exactly right! That is the point of march madness. People don't watch college basketball regular season games, the watch march madness
The point of college football, is people tuning in 12 time every Saturday to watch the most important regular season in all of sports!
@2Twoitt@ugacdawg@ByuSome And I'm saying that you are delusional.
And I'd also like to reiterate, that the Playoff is designed to select teams that can actually win the whole thing... NOT to pump it full of non-contenders, and hope that the 1st game of 5 rounds is "competitive" ๐คฎ
@2Twoitt@ugacdawg@ByuSome "So what?" The answer is; DON'T PUT MORE ALABAMA'S IN THE PLAYOFFS dummy
Less teams like '2025 Alabama' would be preferable. Thanks
@SportyMcSports So if my math is correct, even with your pro-24 team twitter base... as of now 67.2% of the people don't want it. And people who want 12 teams or fewer make up a higher percentage of 36.2% vs 32.8%
And again, that's asking your audience, 24 teams is not a popular idea anywhere.
@Cuse_Orange153@UofLFootball502@ByuSome It would be a monumental waste of time thats for sure. But I guess Alabama fans would have a little fun. Ticket prices for that โplayoffโ game would be cheap.โฆ
@TristinAnglin@ByuSome I don't think Alabama should have been let in the playoff either. The answer obviously shouldn't be, let put even more teams that are far worse than Alabama into to the playoff also...
And you are not going to bridge the gap, you are only going to plummet regular season ratings.
@CoasterDevin@clawrence And I'm not sure if I'm reading this correctly, but ND lost to Miami... they were correct putting them in over ND. Alabama should have been dropped, but more to the point, The Group of 6 shouldn't get auto bids. Tulane, JMU... 0% chance of actually winning it.
@CoasterDevin@clawrence ND blew their opportunity to make the playoff by coming out of the gate slow. I say that as a huge ND fan. That is absolutely no reason to ruin the regular season with 24 teams. And ND isn't even in a conference, which destroys your terrible idea about forcing 2 teams in.
