we’re not upset over the fact that it’s only michael going back.

we’re upset at the fact that he and cote worked SO hard to fight for this spinoff, to have the creative control they wanted and to tell tiva’s story the way they always imagined — their dream show, their love child, only for him to act like none of it ever mattered. because we’re exactly where we were ten years ago.

we’re upset over the fact that we’ve spent the last six months trying to save the show, having poured time, effort and a thousands of dollars of our OWN money into the campaign, only for us to be repayed like this. we’re upset that the rest of the cast and crew have been fighting for it with us, only for him to go back to the place that ruined everything — the place that completely destroyed tiva the first time around… to a place that will wreck everything beautiful the spinoff has built.

the bottom line is: we feel betrayed.

betrayed by the one person who was supposed to be tiva’s protector… the one person we were supposed to trust, because he loved tiva more than we do.

we feel betrayed by the one person who was supposed to never break our hearts.

The last time CBS declined comment on whether Cote would join Michael for an arc (his exit) they strung us along for months, teased the fans, she outed them by confirming she was not returning, and they killed Ziva over it. So you can imagine why this might not feel great.
