@ErfinderRotwang @JamesRedTate @adamndsmith It's not, because if we cut out the waste we'll be in surplus and will be reducing our debts, ending up with balanced books.
You say no one is saying that, but I think it would be nice if someone did acknowledge that this is where the money would actually go.
@Modupe472@BBCNews So you'd actually fire someone from their job for one accidental email? So fat finger error or a missclick, just kick them out? Do you think you'd keep your job by those rules?
@johnnythepod@adamndsmith That's not new and not what I'm talking about. But if you are going to be a dick about it then fuck it. We can just stop here.
@the_barberscat@DavidLammy Well things like you have no/shouldn't have friends seems a bit cuntish. Cuntishness that I assumed was caused by bs outrage that is either stupid or just fake. Probably a bit of both.
@johnnythepod@adamndsmith It's not though. The way you describe it money doesn't mean anything at all. If it's ins and out on a ledger and not connected in any way to the real world. Let's all barter with alcohol and potatoes, at least that has value to someone.
@Mr_Balowski@adamndsmith Nobody said that. I mentioned wasting public money in previous tweets. You are the one who wants to print more for those same people. I'm not "concerned" about any of it. Not NHS, not who you vote for, none of it. Jogg on, retard.
@the_barberscat@DavidLammy I do and there are lots of us about. Maybe it's you who hasn't left the house in a while. Stay in and keep your your rage on twitter 😜.
Live court report from #JulianAssange’s extradition hearing [THREAD]:
We start the day by learning that Julian has not be allowed to participate in person at the most important hearing of his life.
This hearing will begin with the #Assange exception to the norm.
#FreeAssange
@joe_mangoat @adamndsmith They are not doing that. Stop the bad, tax it or ban it or anything. "Less bad" doesn't happen. These people poured 37 billion down the drain (their mates?),that was them spending on "more good".
@johnnythepod@adamndsmith Well obviously I get that, but what you spend it on does affect it. Should still prioritise reducing waste before going towards borrowing. I know that's like a household again, but that's my belief. Mind who is in our government, how will they spend extra money?
@johnnythepod@adamndsmith And printing more doesn't lead to inflation? There is also an environmental factor to consider. Encourage people to use/waste less, but keep printing money from the air to promote consumption at the same time. Resources aren't infinite, money shouldn't be either. So prioritise.
@JuneSim63 @adamndsmith It should have happened years ago, now is just better than years later. Why not now? Is there nothing we can cut? From billons of subsidies, all the tax loopholes, military spending? How much money is wasted/misspent anyways? Our debt is huge and it does matter and it should too.
@magnostherobot@DavidLammy Don't think it was clear. Trump's terrific is just like a catchphrase too, he used when talking about situations where people died too, they were doing "terrific" in Syria sometimes. These guys seriously like to pile on, don't they?
@magnostherobot@DavidLammy It not about Alex and I don't really think of it that deeply. Its just something that get brought up often by many of them and I don't think any them care either way. You could also say the more we point small things like that, the more we are distracted from real decisions made.
