Is was my 60th blood donation, today. My blood is still tagged with a special blue label, so it is safe to be given to neonatal babies. It is good to know that I am young at heart! Although someone will point out that the heart is just the pump and it is produced in bone marrow!
This #WomensDay meet the women working for wetlands…
Whether we’re desk-based or out in the reeds all day, we all ‘do’ wetland conservation at WWT 💧🌱🦆
Let’s celebrate these amazing women, who care for and inspire others to care for our amazing wetlands every day 🙌⬇️
Survived five days with my niece. Just returned her to her home in Oxfordshire. Just the drive home and then two days of work (restful compared to entertaining a 8 year old) and then it is the weekend. Feeding the animals at zoo - Nanny and niece
Survived an afternoon at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo with my niece! No one told me that the zoo was so big! Hopefully she will sleep well tonight, I know I will.
You will pleased to know that I passed the course. Thanks St John Ambulance for a great course. See you in 3 years. Or, in a couple of weeks time, when I am crewing with Zhi on an ambulance!
Off to St John Ambulance Crawford Street to do a Blended First Aid at Work Requalification Course. I wonder if I will know the trainer. I completed the online part of the course, last week. It was every informative.
