@22Beardface @AllBlazeNoGlory Nearly nuking a result on the back of a poor 30 mins is definitely bad but dominating for the first 50 to lead 27-0 in a place we haven’t won at for 22 years is objectively good. Wholeheartedly agree with two things being true but it’s an important win and it’s only GW1!
@ScotRugbyBlog@Smaxwell2981@docrobperry Bar the yellow card I thought Turner was having a very strong game. Ashman really flatters to deceive for me. Him, Skinner (who I thought was pretty woeful), Ritchie need to go for next week and go a 6/2 split on the bench
@SamLStandsUp Not you, the general sentiment from a lot of Scottish fans! I actually think your thread and @LourensBester99’s comments are spot on here
@SamLStandsUp Tiresome the amount of doom and gloom there is around this. No denying we were very poor for 30 mins but a lot of people overlooking how good and dominant we were for first 50 mins. Both things can be true instead of fixating on this dour narrative. And it’s only GW1!
@andrewfrugby@ScotRugbyBlog I’ve never seen a side be so offside, enter horizontally and with their hands on the floor - sometimes at the same time - so often and get away with it more often than not
@_crawfordcallum @DollyBenga @SPFLWatch Watching Ludovic Roy fumble a shot into his own net that season was the first time I really disliked my own team 😂
@_crawfordcallum @DollyBenga @SPFLWatch Fair, I was 6 so never really caught on that this was the case. First year with season ticket was the year we came 3rd, feel like we had decent numbers then for a few years though?
@_crawfordcallum@SPFLWatch https://t.co/eda83igggy this was the first game I went to in 1999 and we got over 6000 in the 2nd division, we’ve definitely had a period where attendances were significantly better
@TelegraphRugby Waboso is the new OHC, who’s the new Murley, who’s the new Radwan, who’s the new Cokanasiga and at the end of it all they’ll end up with Daly and Watson on the wings
@paulodc100@rugby_ap 3 on residency in the squad - Duhan, Nel and Schoeman. As many as Ireland have in their regular starting backline when it comes to players qualifying on residency - JGP, Aki, Lowe
@splbanter I always find it hilarious that the fans that fight are also the ones that do arts and crafts during the week to make banners and practice making songs too
@nige_h64@TheRugbyPaper More of a general point than aimed at you I must say! Agree with you on Roebuck, players are whatever nationality they feel aligned to by whatever connection is valid, really shouldn’t cause this much uproar with folk
@nige_h64@TheRugbyPaper I don’t think anybody is wrong in using the rules to their advantage and players shouldn’t need to justify it either. It becomes a bit boring to complain about it, especially to highlight one team when they’re all doing it to some degree
@johnkir97795612@Huwipulotu Darge, Ashman, Smith, Murphy Walker, Hodgson, Sykes, McLean, Thompson, McDowall, Henderson, Patterson all either capped or in squads having played in under-20 6Ns in last 5 years. Not loads and not many regulars but not none as claimed as a fact here
