Remembering when I met John on results day back in 2020.

The sting felt when he asked if I was proud of my results moments after finding out I’d been downgraded based not on performance but on the fact my school was expected to have low attainment due to it being a deprived area

Truly phenomenal decision.

They say data is the new oil, and Edinburgh is at the cutting edge of innovation.

But this massive decision, that we’ll be home to the UK’s supercomputer, will turbo-charge for innovation and growth.
