We vote for people who revere public school educators, welcome the diversity all of NC Public students, & who have the skills required to lead with experience.
That's why we vote for Maurice "Mo" Green to lead our schools! State Superintendent of Public Instruction!

Pizza parties don’t build culture if it’s the only thing we do to build culture. Waiting to support people until they are at their breaking point isn’t helping us build momentum. Every conversation matters. #LeadFromWhereYouAre#1minwalk2work#giveyourselfachance
@LylesNoah My seventh grade English students in Charlotte, NC get to read your tweet while they’re sitting in class thinking about their presents and futures.
Thank you for inspiring our children to dream big and go for it.
Librarians, don’t forget to celebrate Black Joy in your #BlackHistoryMonth displays!!! Not everything has to be a space narrative or a Civil Rights struggle. Let our kids see the hope and joy in their being. #SchoolLibrary
This is exactly how I conduct all post-conferences! Any opportunity for growth is linked directly to teacher strengths!

We hire teachers for their strengths, yet we fixate on managing their perceived weaknesses. Imagine the impact if we not only identified and celebrated strengths but also created a culture actively nurturing and amplifying them!
President Biden honored 40 outstanding community leaders, including Turquoise Parker from Lakewood Elementary, with the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award and medallion, recognizing their exceptional leadership and volunteer contributions.
A huge shout out to Melanie Upright from John Hopkins University for presenting the importance of communication skills in today’s workplace. Our CASE juniors and seniors now better understand the importance of leadership, non-verbal communication, and micro expressions.
Leadership is hard. Nobody said it would be easy.
🔺When people talk about you, keep leading.
🔹When people compliment you, keep leading.
🔺When your hard work goes unnoticed, keep leading.
Why? Because we are in the kid business. Kids are the reason schools exist. It isn’t about you or me. It’s about kids. When things are good, bad or ugly, keep leading.
When we keep showing up to lead, that’s when success will follow. That’s when kids’ pathways will be redirected. And that is when we know we are changing the world.
KEEP. LEADING.
