The Mass Spec Core in the QMRI is moving over next 3 weeks. The programme of instrument shut down is underway. We are still continuing with some lab work, data evaluation while we can. Please bear with us - we can still discuss new projects and are continuing with current ones.

So we are at Day 0 - packing crates for lab move have arrived. We are moving exactly 2 floors down to level 1. We get the ‘keys’ to the new lab space tomorrow. Some instruments switched off and the start of Operation Lab Tetris is on @RuthAndrewMSEd @scottgdenham @CateDuff1

We have now increased what our @WatersCorp Xevo TQS can do. A new Acquity I-Class plus with a TUV detector. This means UPLC with UV and/or mass spec detection. Opening doors to different bioanalysis. Bonus: The I-Class plus can take vials and plates @EdinUniCVS @EdMassSpecCore
