I support the death penalty for everything from giving the orders for a genocide to loansharks, fraudsters, & confidence tricksters targeting vulnerable people
My opinion piece based on my personal experiences with @AndyBurnhamGM in my work fighting for change, and justice for survivors and victims of sexual abuse written for today’s @DailyMail ….
Burnham wasted the chance to give a voice to grooming gang victims https://t.co/IC61BGwEu2
@MaggieOliverUK@AndyBurnhamGM@DailyMail The voters of Makerfield have a chance to hold Burnham to account for covering up grooming gangs & abandoning young girls
This suggests there’s not just massive fraud and corruption on MOD contracts but on any government contract involving software or construction
Striking that right-wing politicians & MSM tell outrageous lies about non-existent fraud on Benefits but refuse to even mention the fraud & corruption on government contracts
We need a massive change in government & law enforcement
@Normanjam67 It seems like almost any contract that involves software or construction ends up costing several times the official bid price
Obviously the companies involved in screwing the taxpayer are paying off the right people because nothing is ever done about this
Hannah Spencer & the other Green MPs should be demanding that Labour’s police reforms include taking control of criminal investigations into fraud & corruption on MOD contract away from the completely corrupt MOD
When I reported fraud costing taxpayers hundreds of millions of pounds the MOD Police REFUSED to even look at the evidence & produced a farcical report saying that no fraud had occurred
Massive fraud is rampant on MOD contracts
@theashrb Corruption is the elephant in the room when it comes to the government’s budget
No party is even promising to tackle corruption let alone putting forward credible proposals to reduce it

HS2 TOLD PARLIAMENT THE BUDGET. THEY JUST FORGOT TO MENTION IT WAS FAKE.
An HS2 employee gave evidence to a Select Committee and said, out loud, words that should have ended careers: "If we told Parliament the true cost, they would never give approval."
They did not tell Parliament the true cost.
Parliament gave approval.
And when staff raised the alarm internally, they were not thanked for their diligence.
Doug Thornton, HS2's (@HS2ltd) own land and property director, was sacked 11 minutes after filing a formal grievance.
Andrew Bruce, a former Lieutenant Colonel who survived Iraq and Afghanistan, had copies of a 2015 Deloitte report shredded on his watch, physical copies thrown in the bins, electronic copies deleted, by the people he worked for.
Stephen Cresswell raised cost concerns five separate times. He was told to concentrate on something else. His contract was not renewed.
Lord Berkeley told the House of Lords in June 2021 that ministers, permanent secretaries, and HS2 chief executives had either lied or deliberately hidden from Parliament that they knew the real numbers.
One internal estimate came in at £48 billion at a time ministers were publicly quoting £23.5 billion.
Quantity surveyor Michael Byng put the true figure at £158 billion. The government was telling the public £102 billion.
Cresswell eventually took HS2 (@HS2ltd) to an employment tribunal. He won. He was awarded £319,070. HS2 admitted he had not been given appropriate protection as a whistleblower.
The Department for Transport (@transportgovuk) said it takes such things seriously. The northern leg of HS2 was cancelled in 2023 amid costs described by the current Transport Secretary as a litany of failure. Parliament is still building it.
Nobody has been charged with anything.
The whistleblowers lost their careers. The executives collected promotions and left for other jobs.
The project is borrowing £7 billion a year from taxpayers and is not expected to open until 2036 at the earliest.

Before putting a single penny into defence the government should create an elite investigating & prosecuting organisation which has no connection with the government or politicians
It should take over power to control criminal investigations into fraud & corruption on MOD contracts & decisions over payments/compensation to informants
1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem in their life
I assume this is true of people in Makerfield too
Just remember what a complete bastard Andy Burnham has been to mentally ill people

Former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern is in the headlines after he criticised the level of African immigration into Ireland.
He's being forced into a media apology tour but the damage is already done, Bertie said what most Irish people are thinking and Fianna Fáil will never recover from this.
Let's be honest, if Bertie started physically deporting Africans, Irish people would cheer him on.
Fianna Fáil: Former PM of Ireland. Bertie Ahern is Correct 🇮🇪
Ireland's 70-80% majority is appalled by the elite-orchestrated immigration invasion that is causing harm to housing, welfare, culture, and safety. Treacherous globalist traitors go against the will of the people, sparking protests and accelerating national decline.
@BlokeOnWheels The “ Centre for Social Justice“ manufactures lies about people on Benefits getting rich
The Tories & other scum are happy to quote those lies
It's bullshit, the Tories have taken a ridiculous example of a family claiming the absolute maximum, which would require them to have a very rare and very specific set of circumstances including multiple children with profound disabilities, and tried to suggest that it's a typical claim.

@Ed_Miliband Ed Milliband is talking absolute rubbish
We have hundreds of years worth of coal in Britain
If energy security is the priority we should be burning coal, like:
China
India
Bangladesh
etc
@SueJonesSays@nic_moneypenny I lost someone to suicide two
There is a total lack of support for people in the community
Mental Health Care Coordinators used to visit people every couple of weeks & could support them
Burnham ordered that to stop
@SueJonesSays@nic_moneypenny You’re too intelligent & principled to go for him:
-He cut off help to long term mentally ill people
-He was responsible for the deaths at Mid Staffs A & E & other places
-He’s a commissioner for the “Centre for Social Justice” (CSJ)
